Flywheel Housing - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the flywheel and rear gear group.
- Remove the electric starter motor.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to engine (1). The weight of engine (1) is approximately 1089 kg (2400 lb). Use the suitable lifting device to position engine (1) onto Tooling (A) .

- Remove bolts (2), retainer (3), and gear assembly (4). Repeat for gear assembly (5) .

- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (7). The weight of flywheel housing (7) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).
- Remove bolts (6) and flywheel housing (7) .
Installation Procedure
- Install flywheel housing (7) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (C) to the mounting surface of flywheel housing (7) .
