Note: The axial end play must be adjusted if the swashplate, the swashplate bearings, the shaft, the shaft bearings, the head, or the housing has been replaced. The axial end play required is between
- Use Tooling (B) in order to install lip seal (64) in housing (26). The sealing lip must face inward. Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with hydraulic oil before installation. Install retaining rings (63) into housing (26).
- Install lip seal (62) in housing (26). The sealing lip must face outward. Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with hydraulic oil before installation.

- Install bearing (65) and bearing (66) into housing (26). Install set screws (67).
- Install bearing cone (61) into housing (26).

- Install spacer (58), spring (59), and spacer (60) into barrel (55).
- Use Tooling (B) and use a suitable press in order to compress spring (59).
- Install retaining ring (57) into barrel (55).
