Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) - Remove and Install

Usage:

CB-64 CB5

Removal Procedure

Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

  1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

  1. Disconnect harness assemblies (1) for the lights, if equipped.

  1. Disconnect harness assemblies (2) for the Product Link, if equipped.

  1. Remove the cable straps that secure harness assemblies (2) to the platform.

  1. Drain the coolant from the coolant tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance for the proper procedure. Loosen the clamp and remove hose (3) from the coolant tank.

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to ROPS (4). The weight of ROPS (4) is approximately 544 kg (1200 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (5) and ROPS (4) from the machine.

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to ROPS (4). The weight of ROPS (4) is approximately 544 kg (1200 lb). Place ROPS (4) into position.

  1. Install ROPS (4) and bolts (5). Remove the suitable lifting device.

  1. Install hose (3) to the coolant tank and tighten the clamp. Fill the cooling tank with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance for the correct procedure.

  1. Connect harness assemblies (2) for the Product Link, if equipped.

  1. Install the cable straps in order to secure harness assemblies (2) to the platform.

  1. Connect harness assemblies (1) for the lights, if equipped.

  1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
