- 在燃油滤清器 (1) 下面放置一个托盘，以便盛装可能溢出的燃油。 有燃油溢出要立即清理掉。

- 清洁燃油滤清器组件的外部。 打开燃油滤清器底部的排放口 (4) 。 将滤芯中的燃油和水排放到一个适当的容器中。

在检验、保养、测试、调整及维修发动机时，请小心确保盛接流出的液体。 在打开或拆解任何储有液体的部件之前，要准备好合适的容器收集液体。 有关适合收集和盛接卡特彼勒产品上的液体的工具和供应品，请参阅专门出版物, NENG2500, "卡特彼勒代理商工具目录"。 按照本地法规和条例处置所有液体。 |
- 握住滤芯，按逆时针方向转动锁环 (2) 。 卸下锁环 (2) 。 用旧的滤清器芯应卸下，弃置不用。
- 从滤芯上卸下沉淀杯 (3) 。
- 彻底清洁沉淀杯 (3) 。 检查 O 型密封圈。 如有必要，安装新的O型密封圈。
- 将沉淀杯安装到新滤芯上。 用手拧紧沉淀杯。
注: 手拧是应采用的唯一方法。
- 确保滤清器底座清洁。 将新滤芯完全推入滤清器底座内。

安装燃油滤清器之前不要在其中注入燃油。 污染的燃油会加速燃油系统部件的磨损。 |
- 握住滤芯。 装上锁环 (2) 。 顺时针转动锁环以便将滤芯固定到滤清器底座上。
注: 如果前面的操作中卸下了尼龙嵌件，则将其装上并安装盖子。
