Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

1. Open the engine enclosure.

2. Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

3. Disconnect negative battery cable (3) from battery (1) .

4. Disconnect positive battery cable (2) from battery (1) .

5. Remove the bolts, bracket (4), and battery (1) .

1. Install battery (1), bracket (4), and the bolts.

2. Connect positive battery cable (2) to battery (1) .

3. Connect negative battery cable (3) to battery (1) .

4. Turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.

5. Close the engine enclosure.
