Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

1. Open the engine enclosure.

2. Remove cover (1) .

3. Remove primary air filter element (2) .

4. Remove secondary air filter element (3) .

5. Disconnect tube assembly (5) from air cleaner housing (4) .

6. Loosen the clamp and disconnect hose (6) from air cleaner housing (4) .

7. Loosen the clamp and disconnect hose (7) from air cleaner housing (4) .

8. Remove bolts (8) and remove air cleaner housing (4) .

1. Install air cleaner housing (4) and bolts (8) .

2. Connect hose (7) to air cleaner housing (4) and tighten the clamp.

3. Connect hose (6) to air cleaner housing (4) and tighten the clamp.

4. Connect tube assembly (5) to air cleaner housing (4) .

5. Install secondary air filter element (3) .

7. Install cover (1) .

8. Close the engine enclosure.
