Description of Change: A new pilot line replaces the former pilot line for the hoist control valve. The new pilot line consists of a hose in place of the tube that was used as the former pilot line. The new pilot line offers better reliability over the former pilot line.
Adaptable To:

A new 150-5005 Hose replaces the former 247-8401 Tube that was used on 735 (S/N: AWR678-UP; B1N1-388) and 740 (S/N: AXM1493-UP; B1P1-940,943) for use as the pilot line on the 152-7120 Hoist Control Valve and Mounting. The new hose also replaces the earlier 206-8994 Tube that was used on 735 (S/N: AWR1-677) and 740 (S/N: AXM1-1492).
The new 150-5005 Hose is effective on 735 (S/N: B1N389-UP) and 740 (S/N: B1P941-942,944-UP).
The new 150-5005 Hose is adaptable to earlier machines.

Attach clip (8) to hose (2). Attach the end of clamping plate (7) that does not have a chamfer to the clip with bolt (9), nut (4) and a washer (5). Do not tighten the bolt at this stage.
Position both ends of hose (2) to the two elbows on either side of the hoist control valve. Connect the hose loosely to the elbows.
Secure the chamfered end of clamping plate (7) loosely to the mounting plate of the hoist control valve with spacer (6), bolt (3), nut (4) and two washers (5) .
Adjust the route of hose (2) in order to ensure that the bends in the hose follow the best path. Tighten the end connections of the hose and tighten the bolts on each end of clamping plate (7) in order to secure the hose in position.
