This Special Instruction contains the information needed to install 258-3639 Backhoe Mounting Gp (Kit) or 367-9770 Backhoe Mounting Gp (Kit) on the listed machines.

Do not begin installation of this kit until you read the information that is contained in this instruction.

Remove step (A) from the front of the ROPS. In order to remove step (A), remove screw (B), hard washer (C), four screws (D), and four hard washers (E) .
Reinstall the five screws and the five hard washers in order to maintain the integrity of the mounting holes.
Retain the step for future reinstallation if this kit is removed.

Remove the two bolts (F) with hard washers (G). Also, remove the eight bolts (H) with hard washers (J) .
Note: These fasteners will be used in the next step for installing the support assemblies.

Mount support assemblies (3) to the frame. First, place each support assembly in position and insert two detent pins (5) in order to hold the support assembly in place. Then, secure each support assemblies to the frame by using four bolts (H) with four hard washers (J). Also, install one bolt (F) with a hard washer (G) on the top of each support assembly, as shown.

Install step assembly (2) to the support assemblies. Use two pins (4) and four lock pins (1) in order to secure the step assembly to each support assembly.

Remove the four bolts (Y) and the four washers (Z) from the lift arm. Retain washers (Z). Retain bolts (Y) for reinstallation if the bracket kit is removed.

Place the two plates (6) in position over the existing plates (X). Install the four bolts (7) and four washers (Z) in order to secure the plates onto the lift arm.
