Hub Oil (Flexxaire Fan) - Change

PERHATIAN

Pastikan agar semua cairan selalu ditampung pada tempatnya sewaktu melakukan pemeriksaan, perawatan, pengujian, penyetelan dan perbaikan produk. Persiapkan tempat penampungan cairan yang sesuai sebelum membuka kompartemen atau membongkar komponen yang berisikan cairan.

Gunakan petunjuk pada Publikasi Khusus , NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" untuk mengetahui peralatan dan perlengkapan untuk mengumpulkan dan menampung cairan pada produk-produk Caterpillar.

Buang semua cairan sesuai dengan peraturan setempat yang berlaku .


Catatan: Before you proceed, ensure that you know the correct model of the hydraulic actuated fan.

Changing the Oil on the Hub of the FX 2000 Hydraulic Actuated Fan

  1. Rotate the hub until oil drain plug (1) is facing upward.

  2. Remove oil drain plugs (1) and (2).

  3. Slowly rotate the hub until oil starts to flow from oil drain plug (2). Capture the oil in a suitable container.

  4. When the flow of oil stops, rotate the hub until the oil starts to flow again. Repeat this step until all of the oil has been removed from the hub.

  5. See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hub Oil - Add" for the procedure to refill the hub with oil.
