Hydraulically Controlled Hood

This machine is equipped with a hydraulically controlled hood. A switch is used in order to control the operation of the hood.

Switch (21) operates the hood. Switch (21) is located on the right console.


Open hood - Push the top of the switch in order to open the hood.


Close Hood - Push the bottom of the switch in order to close the hood.

Opening the hood with no electrical power

Use the following procedure in order to open the hood if there is no electrical power.

  1. Remove three bolts in order to open the access door on the right side of the machine.

  1. Connect the appropriate jump start cable to the auxiliary jump start receptacle on the stalled machine.

  1. Enter the cab and turn the ignition key to the ON position.

  1. Operate the switch for the hood in order to open the hood.
