Periksa viscous vibration damper adanya tanda-tanda kebocoran dan adanya tanda-tanda kerusakan pada bagian rumahnya. Salah satu dari kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan pemberatnya menyentuh rumah. Sentuhan ini dapat mempengruhi pengoperasian damper. |
Peredam getaran dipasang di bagian depan crankshaft. Kerusakan atau kegagalan peredam getaran akan meningkatkan getaran engine. Ini akan menyebabkan kerusakan pada crankshaft.
Ganti peredam jika salah satu kondisi berikut muncul:
- Peredam mengalami penyok, retak, atau cairan bocor dari peredam.
- Cat pada peredam telah berubah warna akibat panas berlebih.
- Peredam telah bengkok.
- Lubang baut telah aus atau baut telah longgar dan tidak bisa dikencangkan kembali.
- Crankshaft engine mengalami kegagalan akibat gaya torsional.
