Alternator - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
- Open the engine enclosure.
- Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
- Remove bolts (2) and guard (1) from the engine.

- Disconnect harness assemblies (3) .

- Loosen bolt (7) .

- Remove bolt (6) from alternator (4) .
- Remove bolt (5) and alternator (4) .
Installation Procedure
- Install alternator (4) and install bolt (5) .

- Install bolt (6) in alternator (4) .
- Tighten bolt (7). Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".
- Connect harness assemblies (3) .

- Install guard (1) on the engine and install bolts (2) .

- Turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.
- Close the engine enclosure.
