提升回路安全阀位于安装在主控制阀上的歧管上。 主控制阀位于前机架上。
提升阀滑阀处于保持位置时，提升油缸缸盖端的提升回路安全阀限制提升回路中的最大压力。

提升回路安全阀 (1) 弹簧 (2) 油道 (3) 板 (4) 阀 (5) 油道 (6) 节流孔 (7) 进口 | |
作用在提升油缸上的任何外力均会提高进口 (7) 中的油压。 如果作用在阀 (4) 上的油压超过弹簧 (1) 的弹力，阀 (4) 将打开。
然后，机油经过油道 (5) 流向液压油箱。 进口 (7) 中的油压降低以防提升油缸回路的部件损坏。
提升回路在主控制阀内设有补偿阀。 提升回路安全阀打开时，提升油缸回缩。 如果提升油缸回缩过快，提升回路将不能向提升油缸连杆端供应充足的油量，从而产生压降。 压降使补偿阀打开，允许补偿油流向提升油缸连杆端。
