Rear Wiper/Washer Switch (1)

Window wiper - Turn knob (1) clockwise in order to turn on the window wipers.

Window washer - Depress knob (1) in order to wash the windows.

Ether Starting Aid Switch (2)

Ether starting aid switch (2) for manual operation is located on the left side of the instrument panel. Use the ether starting aid switch in order to assist the engine starting procedure.

If the engine coolant temperature is below 0 °C (32 °F), the ether starting aid will operate automatically.

If the engine coolant temperature is above 10 °C (50 °F), the ether starting aid will be disabled.

Parking Light Rocker Switch (3)

Parking Lights (3) - Press the bottom of the switch in order to activate the parking lights. Return the switch to the central position in order to deactivate the parking lights.

Headlight Switch (4)

Headlights (4) - Press the top of the switch in order to activate the headlights. The headlights can be high beam or the headlights can be low beam. Return the switch to the central position in order to deactivate the headlights.

Floodlight Switch (5)

Floodlight (5) - Press the top of the switch in order to activate the floodlight. Press the bottom of the switch in order to deactivate the floodlight. The floodlight illuminates the dump body.

Cigar Lighter (6)

Cigar Lighter - The cigar lighter can be used as a 24V power receptacle. This power receptacle can be used to power automotive electrical equipment or accessories. Remove the cigar lighter before use.

Engine Start Switch (8)

The engine start switch is operated by a key. The engine start switch has three positions.

OFF - The engine is shut off. The key can only be inserted into the engine start switch when the engine start switch is in the OFF position. The key can only be removed from the engine start switch when the engine start switch is in the OFF position.

ON - To activate the electrical circuits in the cab, turn the engine start switch clockwise to the ON position.

START - To start the engine, turn the engine start switch clockwise to the START position. When the engine start switch key is released, the engine start switch will return to the ON position.

Fan Speed Control (9)

Fan speed switch (9) - This is a rotary control switch with four speed settings.

OFF position - The fan is deactivated.

Low speed

Low medium speed

High medium speed

High speed

To select a fan speed, turn the fan speed switch counterclockwise from the OFF position.

Temperature Control Switch (10)

Turn temperature control switch (10) clockwise or counterclockwise in order to adjust the air temperature within the cab.

Air Conditioning Switch (11)

Air conditioning switch (11) is a rocker switch with two positions:

ON position - Press the top of the switch in order to activate the air conditioning system.

OFF position - Press the bottom of the switch in order to deactivate the air conditioning system.

Differential Lock Switch (13)

Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential Lock Control" for more information.

Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist Control" for more information.

Hazard Flasher Switch (15)

Hazard - Push the top of the switch in order to activate the hazard lights. Push the bottom of the switch in order to deactivate the hazard lights.

Secondary Steering Test Switch (16)

The secondary steering test switch (16) is used to test the secondary steering motor for correct operation.

ON - Push the top half of the switch in order to activate the secondary steering motor.

OFF - The switch is spring loaded. The switch will automatically return to the OFF position when the switch is released. This deactivates the secondary steering motor.

Multifunction Switch (17)

Dimmer Switch

Dimmer Switch - Push the dimmer switch away from the steering wheel in order to change the headlight beams from low beam to high beam. Also, pull the dimmer switch toward the steering wheel in order to change the headlight beams from high beam to low beam.

Directional Turn Signal Control

Right Directional Signal Lights - Push the lever away from the operator in order to activate the right turn signals. When the lever is pushed forward away from the operator, an indicator light will illuminate on the front dash. The right turn signal will flash until the lever is manually returned to the OFF position.

OFF Position - In the OFF position, the directional signal lights will not flash.

Left Directional Signal Lights - Pull the lever toward the operator in order to activate the left turn signals. When the lever is pulled back toward the operator, an indicator light will illuminate on the front dash. The left turn signals will flash until the lever is manually returned to the OFF position.

Window Wiper/Washer Switch

Front Window Wiper Switch - The wiper control knob has six positions. Select each position by twisting the knob clockwise and by twisting the knob counterclockwise.

Front Window Wiper - The front window wiper is deactivated.

Intermittent Operation with Long Delay - The front window wiper will operate intermittently and the delay will be long.

Intermittent Operation with Medium Delay - The front window wiper will operate intermittently and the delay will be medium.

Intermittent Operation with Short Delay - The front window wiper will operate intermittently and the delay will be short.

Continuous Operation at Low Speed - The front window wiper will operate continuously at slow speed.

Continuous Operation at High Speed - The front window wiper will operate continuously at high speed.

Front Windshield Washer - Press the button in order to activate the front window washer pump.

Steering Column Tilt and Telescope Control (18)

Tilt - To tilt the steering column, pull up on the control. Then move the steering column to the desired position. When the control is released, the steering column will remain in the desired position.

Differential Lock Control (19)

Service Brake Control (20)

Accelerator Control (21)

Increasing Speed - Depress the pedals in order to increase the travel speed.

Decreasing Speed - Release the pedals in order to decrease the travel speed.

Transmission Control (22)
