Description of Change: New hood hinge pins are now available on the Medium Wheel Loader. The new hinge pin design eliminates the need for spacers. The new pin design also increases the thickness of the hinge pin bracket. Reference Table 1 for part numbers that are part of this change. Reference Illustration 1 for the location of the hinge pins.

Adaptable To: The new hinge pins are adaptable to the machines that are listed above.

Modifications for Machines Configured with Waste Arrangement

When new hood hinge pins are used on machines that are equipped with waste arrangements, you must modify the screen that is located below the grill. Refer to Table 2 and Illustrations 2, 3, and 4 for these modifications.
