- Park the machine on a level surface.
- Lower the blade in order to support the machine so that the rear tires are off the ground. The machine must be in a stable position in order to be able to turn the rear tires.
- Unlock the differential.
- Drain the oil below the level of the outer cover.
- Remove the outer cover.

- Remove the lock.

- Install 9U-5017 Torque Wrench (Dial).

- Check the torque. Refer to Table 1.
- Refer to the adjustment procedure in the appropriate Specifications, "Final Drive" section if the torque is incorrect.
