------ WARNING! ------

Personal injury or death could result from sudden machine movement when a steering mode is selected. Sound the horn to clear personnel from the track area before selecting any steer mode. The tracks can turn automatically depending on the steer mode selected.

----------------------

Manual Rear Steer - Move the switch for the steer mode selector to manual rear steer position (1). In the mode for manual rear steer, the front steering and the rear steering are controlled independently. The front steering will be controlled with the steering wheel. The steering for the rear will be controlled with the switch for the rear steer (5). Press the left side of either switch to the left. The rear tracks will turn to the left. Press the right side of either switch to the right. The rear tracks will turn to the right.

Note: Rear steer is not active when the service door for the rotor is open.

Crab Steer - Move the switch for the steer mode selector to CRAB steer position (2). The rear tracks will follow the front tracks. The rear tracks will rotate in the same direction as the front tracks. This mode allows the operator to move the machine sideways.

Coordinated Steer - Move the switch for the steer mode selector to COORDINATED steer position (3). In the COORDINATED steer position, the rear tracks will follow the front tracks. The rear tracks will rotate in the opposite direction of the front tracks. This mode allows the operator to turn sharper corners. This mode allows the operator to follow turns with more accuracy.

Front Steer - Move the switch for the steer mode selector to FRONT steer position (4). In the FRONT steer position, the rear tracks will assume a fixed straight ahead direction. The front tracks can be turned in either direction. This mode allows the operator to maintain straight runs.
