信号/减压阀计量从活塞泵（转向）流向计量泵的机油流量。 信号/减压阀改善转向的响应时间。 泵端口 (4) 与活塞泵接通，端口 (8) 与计量泵接通。
方向盘静止时，滑阀 (3) 向左移动，机油流过节流孔 (2) ，并从负载感应端口 (9) 流入负载感应管路。 机油还经过节流孔 (5) 和节流孔 (7) 从端口 (6) 流向计量泵。
方向盘转动时，增大的负载感应压力从计量泵传送至负载感应端口 (9) 。 负载感应压力和弹簧 (1) 将滑阀向右移动。 从而使更多机油从端口 (8) 流向计量泵。 从端口 (6) 至计量泵的流量也增大。 从而导致压力迅速传送至计量泵。
