Lockout for Boom and Auxiliary Functions

The lockout control for the boom and auxiliary functions is located on the right side control panel. The lockout control is a four-position switch.

Lockout for Boom Extend, Boom Retract and Auxiliary Functions - Turn the front wheels and the rear wheels to the straight ahead position. Turn switch (1) to position (A). This operation disables the boom extend, the boom retract and the auxiliary hydraulic functions. The operation also changes the steering configuration of the machine to two-wheel steer mode.

Lockout for Roading the Machine - Locking out the boom and auxiliary hydraulic functions before roading the machine is a legal requirement in some countries. To lock out all boom functions and auxiliary hydraulic functions, pull out lever (2) and slightly move the joystick control until the joystick control locks up. This will disable all boom and auxiliary hydraulic functions. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Roading the Machine".

Lockout for Coupler Tilt

Lockout for Coupler Tilt - Push in lever (2) and slightly move the joystick control to the left and to the right until the joystick control locks up. This feature disables the coupler tilt in order to prevent accidental operation of the coupler tilt.
