Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
- Attach a strap and a suitable lifting device to the winch drum (19). The combined weight of the hook winch and the hook winch motor is approximately 567 kg (1250 lb).

- Move hook winch (14) into the position that is shown in Illustration 2. Lower the hook winch onto the cribbing.

- Use Tool (A), straps, and an appropriate lifting device in order to move hook winch (14) into the original position.
Note: Illustration 4 shows the appropriate location to attach a strap to hook winch motor (6) .

- Install two mounting bolts (18). Repeat for the other side of the hook winch.

- Connect hose assemblies (17), (16), and (15) to hook winch (14) .

- Connect hose assembly (13) to hook winch (14) .

- Connect hose assemblies (12) and (11) to the bottom of the hook winch motor.

- Connect hose assembly (10) to the hook winch motor.

- Connect hose assemblies (9), (8), and (7) to hook winch motor (6) .

- Install guard (5) .

End By:
- Disengage the locking device for the counterweight. Refer to Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU7085-01, "Counterweight Lock Lever" for the correct procedure.
- Install the cable for the hook winch. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Hook Winch Cable - Remove and Install".
