Procedure For the Pipelayer Boom Kickout Adjustment {6301}

- 583R (S/N: 2XS1-UP)
Reference: Testing and Adjusting, SENR1809, "583R Pipelayer Hydraulic System"
Use the following procedure for boom kickout adjustment.
- Lock the boom control lever in the NEUTRAL position with the neutral lock control.

- Adjust plate assembly (1) and nut (2) in order to obtain a dimension (A) of 37 ± 3 mm (1.4 ± 0.1 inch) between the outside face of the plate assembly and dowel (3) on the lever assembly.
