Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Place the harvester head in the VERTICAL position. Secure the harvester head frame to the yoke with a suitable chain. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Preparation for Disassembly" for detailed instructions.
The harvester head frame may tip over when it is in the vertical position. Personal injury or death may result if this occurs. Secure the frame to the yoke with a chain or similar restraint prior to working on the harvester head. |
Note: Put identification on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Exercise care to avoid damage to any adjacent hydraulic hoses or fittings. The HH65 Harvester Head is shown. The HH45, HH55, and HH75 Harvester Heads are similar.
- Remove nut (3) from the rod end of the measuring arm cylinder on the pivot pin. Remove the pivot pin. Push the cylinder away from measuring arm (2) .
