Assembly Procedure

    (1) Grease fitting. (2) Locknut. (3) Washer. (4) Pin. (5) Screw. (6) Cap. (7) Retaining ring. (8) Measuring roller assembly. (9) Bearing. (10) Cap. (11) Screw. (12) Socket head bolt.

  1. Install grease fitting (1) into the measuring arm.

    NOTICE

    Putting excessive force on the encoder axle while installing the carrier will damage the encoder.


  1. Install washer (17) and carrier (18) on encoder (16) .

  1. Install encoder (16) into the measuring arm. Install three screws (15) that attach encoder (16) to the measuring arm .

  1. Install measuring roller (8) and bearing (9) .

  1. Install cap (10). Install six bolts (12) that attach cap (10) to measuring wheel (8) .

  1. Install three screws (11) in the center of cap (10). These screws attach measuring roller (8) to encoder (16) .

  1. Cover (14) and cover screws (13) are not installed until the wires are connected to the encoder. The wires are connected to the encoder when the measuring arm is installed on the harvester head.

End By: Install the measuring arm on the harvester head. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Measuring Arm - Install".
