Measuring Arm - Disassemble

Usage:

HH45 CFE

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the measuring arm from the harvester head. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Measuring Arm - Remove".

    (1) Grease fitting. (2) Locknut. (3) Washer. (4) Pin. (5) Screw. (6) Cap. (7) Retaining ring. (8) Measuring roller assembly. (9) Bearing. (10) Cap. (11) Screw. (12) Socket head bolt.

  1. Cover (6) and cover screws (5) were removed when the measuring arm was removed from the harvester head.

  1. Remove locknut (2) and washer (3) from bolt (4) .

  1. Remove bolt (4) .

  1. Remove three screws (11) in the center of cap (10) .

  1. Remove six bolts (12) that attach cap (10) to measuring roller (8). Remove cap (10) .

  1. Remove snap ring (7) from the stub shaft of the measuring arm.

  1. Remove bearing (9) and measuring roller (8) .

  1. Remove three screws (15) that attach encoder (16) to the measuring arm. Remove encoder (16) .

  1. Remove carrier (18) and washer (17) from encoder (16) .

  1. Remove grease fitting (1) from the measuring arm.

Note: Clean all parts. Check the condition of all seals and of all components. Replace all parts that are worn or damaged.
