CID 0100 FMI 13 Engine Oil Pressure calibration required
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects one of the following conditions:
- The engine oil pressure sensor has never been calibrated.
- Engine oil pressure is less than 35 kPa (5 psi) during a calibration attempt.
- Engine oil pressure is greater than 130 kPa (19 psi) during a calibration attempt.
- Engine oil pressure fluctuates more than 25 kPa (3.6 psi) during a calibration attempt.
- Engine oil pressure differs more than 27 kPa (4 psi) from atmospheric pressure during a calibration attempt.
- Active diagnostic codes are present for either the engine oil pressure sensor or the atmospheric pressure sensor during a calibration attempt.
System Response:
The ECM will log the diagnostic code. The diagnostic code may be viewed on a display module or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).
