Drawbar Cage - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the drawbar. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drawbar - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
- Remove pins (1) and limiter (2) .

- Remove bolt (3), the washer, and the spacer. Remove the shield (4) .

- Attach Tooling (A) to the cage. Remove bolts (5) and the washers. Remove the cage.

Installation Procedure

- Attach Tooling (A) to the cage. Apply 8C-8422 Sealant to the two mating surfaces. Install the cage. Install bolts (8) and the washers. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound. Tighten bolts (8) to 630 ± 20 N·m (465 ± 15 lb ft).

- Install the stop. Install bolts (7) and the washers.

- Install wear plate (6) and bolts (5) .

- Install shield (4). Install bolt (3), the washer, and the spacer.
