1. Lower the temperature of two bearing cups (11). Install the bearing cups in hub (4) .

2. Apply Tooling (B) to bearing cone (10). Install the bearing cone in hub ( 4) .

3. Use Tooling (A) to install seal (9) in hub (4) .

4. Install fan pulley (5) and spacer (8) on hub (4) .

5. Install spacer (7) in hub (4) .

6. Install bearing cone (6) in hub (4) .

7. Install hub (4) with fan pulley (5) on shaft (3) .

Note: The shaft and the threads need to be clean and dry before assembly of plate (2) and bolt (1) .

8. Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolt (1). Install plate (2) with bolt (1) on the shaft. Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 115 ± 15 N·m (85.0 ± 11 lb ft).

End By: Install the fan drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan and Fan Drive - Remove and Install" in this module.
