Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the precleaner.

Reference: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Precleaner - Remove and Install" in this module.

1. Open the left side panel of the engine enclosure.

2. Loosen two clamps (2). Remove air cleaner cover (1). Remove primary element (3) and secondary element (4) .

3. Loosen two clamps (6). Remove hose (7) from air cleaner (5) .

4. Remove five bolts (8) and the washers. Remove air cleaner (5) from the engine.

Installation Procedure

1. Install air cleaner (5) on the engine. Install five bolts (8) and the washers in the original locations.

2. Install hose (7) on air cleaner (5). Tighten two clamps (6) .

3. Install secondary element (4) and primary element (3). Install air cleaner cover (1). Tighten two clamps (2) .

4. Close the left side panel of the engine enclosure.
