Seat

Usage:

554 1AM
The seat in the operator compartment is fully adjustable. Your machine is equipped with one of the following types of seats:

  • BEGE-9000 Mechanical suspension

  • BEGE-9000 Air suspension

  • BEGE-9000 Mechanical suspension with air vents

  • BEGE-2000 Air suspension and air vents

Note: The above listed seats are not available on all machines.

Seat Control

Adjust the seat at the beginning of each work period and for each new operator. When the operator is seated against the backrest, adjust the seat so that full pedal travel is allowed.

Fore/Aft Adjustment (1) - Lift the seat adjustment lever in order to slide the seat forward or backward. Release the lever in order to lock the seat in position.


Seat Height (2) - Turn the knob clockwise in order to raise the seat. Turn the knob counterclockwise in order to lower the seat.


Angle of the Seat Cushion (3) - Turn the knob clockwise in order to adjust the slope to the rear. Turn the knob counterclockwise in order to adjust the slope to the front.


Angle of the Backrest (4) - Turn the knob in order to change the angle of the backrest.


Lumbar Support (5) - The degree of lower back support can be adjusted by rotating this knob. This seat provides continuous lower back support to the operator.

Control for the Armrest

The armrests and the hand controls can be adjusted into many different positions. Adjust the armrests and the hand controls at the beginning of each work period and for each new operator.

Both armrests (6) can pivot up and down. The armrests can also pivot to the right and to the left. Both armrests can be rotated outward.

Loosen control knob (8) in order to slide the armrests forward and backward. Tighten control knob (8) in order to lock the armrests in position.

Lift control lever (11) in order to move the armrest up and down. The armrest is automatically raised when you lift the lever. Push down on the armrest in order to lower the armrest.

Both hand controls (7) can be rotated up and down. The hand controls can pivot at areas (9) and (10) .

The armrests and the hand controls pivot on bolts and friction plates. Tighten the bolts in order to decrease the ease of movement of the armrest. Loosen the bolts in order to increase the ease of movement of the armrest.

Seat Heater and Air Vent Control (If Equipped)

The seat that is in your machine may be equipped with an air vent. The air vent can circulate air through the seat cushion and the seat backrest.

The seat that is in your machine may be equipped with a seat heater. The seat heater is mounted in the seat cushion and the seat backrest.

The control is located on the left side of the seat.

Press the bottom of switch (14) in order to circulate the air inside the seat. Press the top of switch (14) in order to turn off the air circulation.

Press the bottom of switch (13) in order to activate the seat heater. Press the top of switch (13) in order to turn off the seat heater.

Rotate knob (12) clockwise in order to increase the amount of air that is circulated through the seat. Rotate knob (12) counterclockwise in order to decrease the amount of air that is circulated through the seat.

The seat in this machine can be rotated by 210 degrees. Pull up on the knob by the left armrest in order to rotate the seat. Push down on the knob in order to lock the seat in position.
