Start By:

  1. Remove both hoist cylinders. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Hoist Cylinder - Remove". The information is in this manual.

  2. Remove the tailgate cylinder. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Tailgate Cylinder - Remove". The information is in this manual.

  1. Disconnect electrical connections (3).

  2. Remove bolts, nuts and washers (2).

  3. Remove lights (1).

  4. Remove bolts, nuts and washers (4).

  5. Use four protective sleeves (7) in order to attach four lifting slings (6) to dump body (5). Apply sufficient tension to lifting slings (6) in order to relieve the pressure on pin assemblies (8).

  6. Use two 3/4 - 10 NC forcing screws (9) in order to remove pin assembly (8).

    Note: If there are shims between the hoist pivot and the pivot bracket, note the location of the shims for assembly.

  7. Repeat Step 6 for the opposite side of the dump body.

  8. Remove dump body (5) with lifting slings (6).
