Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the lower hook sheave block. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hook Sheave Block (Lower) - Remove".

Note: Tooling (A) was installed in order to support the boom during the removal of the lower hook sheave block.

1. Raise the boom and remove Tooling (A).

2. Lower the boom until upper hook sheave block (3) is resting on the ground..

3. Attach the appropriate lifting device and a hoist to upper hook sheave block (3).

4. Remove the cotter pin. Remove retaining pin (2). Remove pin (1).

5. Remove upper hook sheave block (3). Weight of the upper hook sheave block is 150 kg (330 lb).
