  1. Access to the operator's compartment is provided at the front of the machine.

  2. When you mount the machine, use the suspended step, the step on the bumper (1), ladder (2), and the appropriate handholds. Also, face the machine and use both hands when you mount the machine.

  3. Always maintain a three-point contact with the steps and the handholds.

    Note: Three-point contact can be two feet and one hand. Three-point contact can also be one foot and two hands.

  4. When you enter the machine cab from the left side, be aware of the canopy side guard. If you enter the machine cab from the right side, avoid hitting your head on the canopy or the door opening.

  1. Turn engine start switch key (3) to the OFF position and engage the parking brake.

  2. When you leave the machine cab through the left door, be aware of the canopy side guard.

  3. When you leave the machine cab through the right door, carefully step around transmission control console (4). When you step onto the hood, avoid hitting your head on the door opening or the canopy.

  4. When you dismount the machine, use the steps and the handholds. Also, face the machine and use both hands when you dismount the machine.
