Radiator Guard and Radiator - Remove and Install

Start By:

  1. Remove the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".

  1. Use Tooling (A) with a suitable lifting device to the radiator guard. Carefully return radiator guard and radiator (1) to the upright position.

  1. Remove bolts (2) and the washers.

  1. Remove plates (3) and pins (4) from both sides of the radiator guard.

  1. Remove the radiator guard and the radiator.

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the radiator guard, as shown. Install radiator guard (1) and the radiator. The weight of the radiator guard and the radiator is 1258 kg (2770 lb).

  1. Install plates (3) and pins (4) on both sides of the radiator guard.

  1. Install bolts (2) and the washers.

  1. Carefully return the radiator guard and the radiator to the tilt position.

End By: Install the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
