Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

  1. Install a new seal (77) on the motor housing.

  1. Install pistons (75), pin (74), and plate (73) into the drive shaft.

  1. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to fourteen screws (72). Frequently check plate (73) for proper alignment. Also check pistons (75) for free movement.

  1. Lower the temperature of the drive shaft and heat two bearings (69) and (71). Use Tooling (E) to install the two bearings and shim (70) onto the drive shaft.

  1. Use Tooling (A) to install plate (68) and snap ring (67) .

  1. Install spacer (65) and spring (66) into the barrel assembly. Install barrel assembly (63) to drive shaft assembly (64) .

  1. Lower the temperature of the drive shaft assembly for ease of installation into the motor housing. Use Tooling (B) to install the drive shaft assembly into the motor housing.

  1. Install a new seal (62). Use Tooling (C) to install snap ring (61) to the motor housing.

  1. Install pin (59) and piston (60) to the pilot valve.

  1. Install block (58) and bolt (57) into the pilot valve.

  1. Install plate (56) to the pilot valve.

  1. Install adjustment screw (54) and (55), pins (52), and O-ring (53) to the motor housing.

  1. Install motor head (30) and eight bolts (51) to the motor housing. Tighten to a torque of 210 ± 15 N·m (155 ± 11 lb ft).

  1. Install piston (47), plug (48), O-ring (49), and test port (50 ) into pilot valve (29) .

  1. Install spool (42), spacer (41), spring (40), O-ring (39), plug (38), spacer (43), spring (44), O-ring (46), and plug (45) into the pilot valve.

  1. Install piston (37), spring (36), washer (35), O-ring (34), and plug (33) into pilot valve (29) .

  1. Install four small O-rings (32) and a big O-ring (31) to pilot valve (29) .

  1. Install pilot valve (29) and four bolts (28) to motor head (30) .

  1. Install spools (27) and (26) into the solenoid assembly. Use Tooling (A) to install snap ring (25) .

  1. Install locknut (24), screw (24), O-ring (23), and pin (22) to the solenoid assembly.

  1. Install O-ring (19), spring (20), and spool (21) into solenoid assembly (2) .

  1. Install O-ring (18), spring (17), and spool (16) into the solenoid assembly (2) .

  1. Install piston (15), O-ring (14), backup ring (13), O-ring (12), and cap (11) into solenoid (10) .

  1. Install solenoid (10) and four bolts (9) to solenoid assembly (2) .

  1. Repeat steps number 23 and 24 to the other solenoid.

  1. Install four O-ring (8), spring (7), cap (6), spring (5), and piston (4) into the motor head.

  1. Install solenoid assembly (2) and four bolts (1) to the motor head.
