Installation Procedure

1. Install O-ring seal (9) . If O-ring seal (9) is damaged, replace the O-ring seal.

2. Use a suitable lifting device to position pump (7) .

3. Use four washers and four nuts (4) to install pump (7) . Tighten the nuts to a torque of 65 ± 10 N·m (47.9 ± 7.4 lb ft).

4. Use split flange (2) , four washers, and four bolts (1) to install hose assembly (3) .

5. Repeat Step 4 for hose assemblies (5) , (6) , and (8) .

   Note: Check the condition of the O-ring seals on all the hose connections. Replace any damaged O-ring seals.

6. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level.

End By: Disconnect the truck body retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
