- The possibility of spills onto the tractor are reduced.
- The required effort to pull away is reduced.
- The possibility of tire damage is reduced.
Stay in the cab while the machine is being loaded.
The machine must be loaded evenly. Uneven loading of the machine will cause uneven loading in the tires and axles. This can cause excessive wear of tires and axles.
Do not exceed the rated capacity of the machine.
Use caution when you are dumping the load.
Do not get too close to the edge of cliffs, excavations and overhangs.
All six wheels must be in contact with firm ground. Dumping without firm ground support under the rear wheels changes the balance of the machine. It is possible for the tractor or trailer to overturn if dumping is performed incorrectly.
It is possible for the trailer to overturn if the wheels on one side of the trailer suddenly sink into soft ground. This can be made worse if material sticks in the dump body.
When you are dumping the load on an incline, the balance of the machine can alter. The wheels at the front of the machine can be lifted off the ground if the machine becomes unbalanced. This can be made worse if material sticks in the dump body.
Avoid dumping while you are on an incline. If you are dumping the load and the machine is on a shallow slope, use caution.
