Stopping the Machine

Park on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, block the wheels securely. Engage the parking brake. Do not engage the secondary brake while the machine is moving, unless the primary service brakes fail. |
- Apply the service brakes in order to stop the machine.
- Move the transmission control to the NEUTRAL position.
- Engage the parking brake control.
- Release the service brake control. Ensure that the parking brake is holding the machine.
