Problem:
After installing a Caterpillar or after-market hitch on a tractor that was shipped from the factory as "hitch ready", the hitch may not function properly.
Solution:
If the hitch functions erratically or not at all after installation, perform the mechanical adjustment of the hitch valve using the procedure in Systems Operation, Testing & Adjusting, SENR1741, "Hitch Control System Adjustment".
