Problem:

NOTE: JAPAN MANUFACTURED PRODUCT

Factory fill for the above machines did not allow accurate use of 8T5296 Coolant Conditioner Test Kit. Mixing Caterpillar Coolant/Antifreeze with Sagami or Akashi coolant products could cause a gelatin type formation that has led to cooling system blockage. New machines from these plants required drainage of the cooling system and had to be refilled with Caterpillar Coolant/Antifreeze prior to shipment from dealer to customer.

Solution:

Effective with the serial numbers listed below, Sagami and Akashi sourced machines will be delivered to CofA with the correct coolant for use with the 8T5296 Coolant Conditioner test kit and is compatible with Caterpillar Coolant/Antifreeze.
