Special instruction REHS0142-01, "Rebuilding the Backhoe Loader Pin Bores," is now available.
The publication provides the basic steps to repair worn or elongated pin bores on the backhoe loaders. Repairs include adding metal to the pin bores by welding and the machining of the bores to the correct dimensions.
Also provided in the special instruction are the necessary dimensions to restore damaged pin bores to the original factory specifications. Dimensions are provided for lift arms, booms, sticks, extendible sticks, swing pivots, stabilizers, buckets, clamshell buckets, control linkages, and tower assemblies.
REHS0142-01 can be obtained through the normal publication ordering channels.
