Description of Change: The electronic speed sensor group component parts have been standardized to match component parts on machines not equipped with the electronic speed sensor group. Since the electronic speed sensor group is not serviced customers may recognize the serviceable level of electronic speed sensor group as a gear group attachment, traction control systems (TCS) or automatic electronic traction aid (AETA). Former wheel station assembly procedures for machines equipped with any variation of this electronic speed sensor group are no longer applicable because the factory installed rear axle shaft clamp will interfere with the standardized wheel station retainer. This change will decrease required component parts and will improve rear axle serviceability.
Illustration 1. Typical view of the rear axle shaft installation in the wheel station.

---|
NOTICE Do not attempt to assemble the wheel station using standard procedures.

Prior to installing the wheel station assembly onto the machine, position each rear axle shaft into applicable wheel assembly. Axle shaft will only assemble and disassemble from the inside of wheel assembly. For assembly, push axle shaft through wheel assembly until shaft end is flush with inside of wheel assembly. Refer to Illustration 1.
