New Design Improves Durability Of Quick Disconnect Nipple {5050,0618}

Description of Change: A new design of the quick disconnect nipple assembly is available. The new design can be distinguished from the old design by examining the opening on the threaded end of the nipple assembly. The new design uses a pressed fit poppet retainer that is swaged to the body of the nipple assembly. The old design utilized a three-prong perch to retain the poppet. Two passages are cut through the retainer to allow oil flow.

Adaptable To: The 6V-3965 Nipple Assembly is used on virtually all Caterpillar machines. The 6V-3965 Nipple Assembly retains the same part number because of its use throughout the Caterpillar product line.
