Description of Change: A new compressor group is used on the above models. The new compressor group provides the air compressor with an improved piston ring. Oil that passes into the air system can cause the compressor to fail. The improved piston ring will reduce the amount of oil passing into the air system. This change can extend the life of the compressor group. The former compressor group can be converted into the new compressor group by removing the former ring kit and replacing it with the new ring kit.
Adaptable To: The new 160-9845 Compressor Group replaces the former 110-2751 Compressor Group which has been canceled. The 160-9845 Compressor Group provides the TF750 Air Compressor with an improved piston ring. The former 110-2751 Compressor Group can be converted into the new 160-9845 Compressor Group by removing the former 7E-8925 Ring Kit and replacing it with the new 164-7572 Ring Kit. The chart below shows the serial number effectivity for this compressor group.
