Shaft Seal Leaking In Implement Pump Groups{5070}

Usage:

120H (4MK, 5FM, 6NM, 6TM, 2AN, 9FN, 3GR, 9YR),
135H (3YK, 8WN) 12H (4XM, 5ZM, 8MN, 2LR, 2WR, 4ER, 2GS),
140H (2ZK, 5HM, 8JM, 8KM, 9TN, 9ZN, 3FR, 3AS),
143H (1AL),
160H (9EJ, 2FM, 3GM, 6WM, 9JM, 3HR, 2HS),
163H (5AK),
14H (7WJ),
16H (6ZJ, 3JR),
24H (7KK) Motor Graders

The shaft seal will leak in some 6E-3136, 6E-3137, 6E-3139, 6E-3142, and 117-0517 Implement Pump Groups. The shaft was incorrectly machined, causing the seal to be cut when installed on the end of the shaft.

If the shaft seal leaks, remove the wiper on the front of the shaft and check the lead-in chamfer. If sharp edges or burrs are on the lead-in chamfer of the shaft, de-burr the chamfer. Clean the lead-in chamfer; remove and replace shaft seal.
