Reports have been relieved from the field indicating that orifice plugs, used in various hydraulic valves and fittings, have been welded and redrilled to a smaller size or drilled out to a larger size. A variety of orifice size plugs are available through the Parts Department for any given size pipe threaded hole found in various valves and fittings. There are partial lists of orifices in other publications which are not sorted by material type and are not readily available in the field. The following chart lists various orifice plugs by plug size, material, and in orifice size sequence for easier reference.
