New Stronger Engine Lifting Eye Bracket Used{1122}
Usage:
Caterpillar Machines Powered By 3508, 3512, Or 3516 Machine Engines
Description of Change: New lifting eye brackets are used in the lifting eye assembly used on 3500 Machine Engines. The new brackets are stronger than the former brackets. Because the new lifting eye bracket is thicker, longer bolts are required to install the lifting eye assembly.
Adaptable To: The new 121-5492 Lifting Eye Bracket replaces the former 8N-8017 Lifting Eye Bracket in the 8N-8016 Lifting Eye Assembly. The former lifting eye bracket is canceled. Longer 6V-9995 Bolts must used in place of the former 5P-8291 Bolts when installing a 8N-8016 Lifting Eye Assembly that includes the new 121-5492 Lifting Eye Bracket.
