Usage:
RM-350 (5FK) Reclaimer Mixer;
M-350 (1RM) Soil Stabilizer
Reference: Operation and Maintenance Manual; KEBU6733; Page 15, "CMS Display Modes"; Pages 20, 119, "Calibration Mode Component Identifier Numbers".
Description of Change: A number of changes were made to the ECM to improve the operating characteristics of several functions.
-
- * The load control programming was changed to improve production in deep cut applications and an ON/OFF selector switch was added to allow manual load control. See Illustrations 1 and 2.

-
- * A toggle switch was added to allow CMS fault codes to be easily cleared (the previous method was to install a jumper between pins on a connector). See Illustrations 1 and 3.

-
- * Closed loop control was added to the rear steer operating mode to hold the rear wheels at the desired steering angle.
- * The rotor depth display accuracy was improved with the addition of a third calibration point at 175 cm (68.9 in).
- * Closed loop control was added to the rear steer operating mode to hold the rear wheels at the desired steering angle.
NOTE: The value of the third calibration point (c12) is determined by measuring the distance between the center of the rod end pin and the center of the head end pin.
The addition of the third calibration point to the rotor depth changes the MODE 2 ECM calibration procedure. The changes affect the "engine running" portion of the procedure as follows:
NOTE: See pages 20 and 119 in the Operation and Maintenance Manual referenced above.
- c10 Rotor height - Lift lock position
- c11 Rotor height - Ground contact position
- c12 Rotor height - 175 cm (68.9 in) cylinder position (rod end pin to head end pin)
- c13 Front wheels - Full right
- c14 Front wheels - Center / straight
- c15 Front wheels - Full left c16 Rear wheels - Full right
- c17 Rear wheels - Center / straight
- c18 Rear wheels - Full left
- c19 Propel lever - Minimum speed forward propel
- c20 Propel lever - Minimum speed reverse propel
- c11 Rotor height - Ground contact position
NOTE: The new 122-3809 ECM Status Code Chart is released to reflect the addition of the third calibration point.
-
- * The fault mode detection and warning levels system was improved to reduce the occurrence of erroneous error codes.
Adaptable To: The new 122-0549 Control replaces the former 109-7421 Control which is cancelled. The new 122-0549 Control is effective with RM-350 (5FK67) Reclaimer Mixer and SM-350 (1RM42) Soil Stabilizer. All earlier machines have been updated.
