New Engine Water Pump Elbow and Seal Resists Compression Set and Abrasion{1361}

Description of Change: A new water pump elbow (4), seal (1), and backup ring (3) are used in the 3176B Machine Engines. The backup ring must be assembled in the position shown, relative to the seal. See the illustration. The backup ring insures alignment between the oil cooler bonnet and the elbow. The new seal provides more resistance to compression set and abrasion.

Adaptable To: The new 128-0333 Elbow, 129-1653 Seal, and the 128-3732 Backup Ring are a replacement for the former 124-2720, 116-1093, or 102-5831 Elbow and the 8T-9588 Seal. The new parts are adaptable to 3176B (9CK1496-Up) Machine Engines.
