768C TRACTOR & 769C TRUCK POWER TRAIN Caterpillar

1. Disconnect hose (2) from torque converter outlet relief valve (3). Remove the O-ring seal from the hose.

2. Remove three bolts (1) and torque converter relief valve (3) from the torque converter housing. Remove the two O-ring seals from the valve.

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the torque converter outlet relief valve.

3. Put the two O-ring seals in position in torque converter outlet relief valve (3). Put the torque converter outlet relief valve in position on the torque converter housing, and install bolts (1).

4. Put the O-ring seal in position in the end of hose (2), and connect the hose to the torque converter outlet relief valve.
