Problem
A new locknut and clevis need to be installed on the master brake cylinder of certain TH62, TH63,TH82 and TH83 Telehandlers. Some telehandlers that were fitted with a Lucas braking system require the installation of a locknut and replacement of the clevis on the master cylinder push rod. The clevis can unscrewed from the master cylinder push rod, causing the brakes to be applied. This results in overheating the axles. If the clevis screws itself on, this would have the effect of increasing the free brake pedal movement and reduce braking efficiency.
